Flipgrid is an app that works on all types of devices and provides a place where students can participate in video-based discussions, share demonstrations, post video reflections and more! As a teacher administer of Flipgrid, you create a Grid. Your Grid can contain unlimited topics with unlimited videos up to 90 seconds in length. Topics are short text or video prompts that can include web links and/or documents. Students access your Grid and topics through a URL or code that you share with them.
The Flipgrid free account gives you the ability to create one Grid with unlimited topics, unlimited student videos, simple student feedback and private video sharing with families. Flipgrid Classroom, at a cost of $65 per year, adds additional great features to your account. You can moderate videos and set the privacy rules so your students will be working in a protected environment.
